  1. I certainly will visit the 2012 rendezvous, as I woked for the Forest Service in the early 1960’s as a timber cruiser.Doug Campbell was in charge. The Marine Building In Vancouver was our headquarters.Larry Papeau and Larry Lipp are two names I remember from that time. The Forest Cruiser (captain Neil Mc Millan) and the Syrene (captain Bouch, the grouch) used to be our workboats. I also worked a few years at the Forest Service Marine Station, later called the Forest Service Marine Depot. Tommy Edwards was the main shipwright during my time there. Most boats I now see on your website were tied up or on drydock at one time or another during my years there.

  2. Well I am the granddaughter of Captain Bouch, the Grouch and am trying to track down the current owner of te Syrene. My Dad, the only son of Captain Bouch recently passed away and the family would like to hold a special ceremony for him.
